Kevin and Emma, praying God to give you comfort and peace in your loss of Vickie. I am Anna's Grandma Carolyn and I watched Emma a few times when she was younger and she would call me Grandma. If I can be of any help to you, let Christina know.

John, Eleanor and Danny, Sandy and I share your grief of the loss of Vickie. John, I remember all the times you, your brother Pete and I would get together to play a few hands of cards. Most of the conversation during the evening was spent talking about Vickie and mostly Emma. Your face would light up the room as you told their stories. May the love of God be with you all.

I’m so glad to have grown up with Vickie. I remember playing school when we were young( Vickie was always the teacher, she was a natural). I recall bringing homework home in high school when she was out of school for an illness. She was always so grateful and strong. She was a shining example of a wonderful person. She went through lots of heartbreaking events in her life, but she never complained and always kept focused and forward moving. I will miss texting and meeting with Vickie traveling between NC and WV when I travel home . Vickie, you were a great friend and I will miss you . My thoughts and prayers are with Kevin, Emma, Mr and Mrs Palimetakis, Danny and Family. Very sincerely, Pam Myers Burleson

I have fond memories of Vickie as our Office Manager at REM-WV, in the early days. I haven't seen her in years, but have been kept current about her and her family through Ross Mason and Jason Lynch. I'm sure Vickie was a great mother and wife. I'm sorry she had to leave this world so soon.

Kevin, Emma, John, Eleanor, Danny and Luana, I am so sorry to learn of Vickie's passing. You are all in my prayers. Vickie made me a CD once that had the song Love Changes Everything on it. ( I think Vickie had Danny sing it at your wedding.) I think of her whenever I hear that song. She loved all of you and your love made her life complete. I remember our trip to DC. We had such fun. She made a difference in so many lives and will be missed by many, but your loss is the greatest. I pray that your thoughts are filled with happy memories of Vickie when she was healthy.
