Linda Lee Batton

Linda L. Batton, 86, of Parkersburg, WV, passed away peacefully on June 19, 2025, at Camden Clark Medical Center after a brief illness. She was born on August 21, 1938 in Fairmont, WV, to the late R. Gerald Teets and Mary Christine Shackelford Teets Cleavenger.

Linda enjoyed spending time with her daughter, as well as, sewing, making quilts for her family, doing home renovations, and camping and fishing alongside her husband.

Surviving Linda is her daughter, Shelly Batton of Parkersburg; a son, Anthony Batton (location unknown); sister-in-law, Polly Teets of Elkhart, IN; and several nieces and nephews.

Along with her parents, Linda is preceded in death by her husband of 44 years, Bobby Batton; her son, Steven Batton; her brother, Bob Teets; and her step-father, Alva Cleavenger.

Her daughter would like to extend a special thanks to the staff at Ohio Valley Health Care for the care provided to Linda over the past few years.
