Kenton Lamb, 90, of Parkersburg, went home to be with the Lord on Saturday, June 14, 2025 at Camden Clark Medical Center. He was born May 25, 1935 in Elmira, WV to the late F. R. “Bus” and “Madge” Hall Lamb.
Kenton was a faithful member of Landmark Baptist Church. He enjoyed travelling and spending time with his kids and grandkids. Kenton was in the trucking industry for 68 years, with 50 of those as a driver, logging over five million accident-free miles.
He is survived by his loving wife of 70 years, Lavaun Lamb; his daughter, Kim van Rijn (Mark Dasher) of Parkersburg; his sons, Michael Lamb (Diane) of Parkersburg, Mark Lamb (Trisanne) of Belpre, and Matthew Lamb (Julie) of Punta Gorda, FL; siblings, Patricia Dean of Frametown, WV and Neil Lamb (Jan) of Mount Lookout, WV; eleven grandchildren; and fifteen great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be 12:00 p.m., Friday, June 20, 2025 at Landmark Baptist Church with Pastor Mike Lamb officiating. Burial will follow at Sunset Memory Gardens. Visitation will be held from 5-8 p.m. Thursday, June 19 at Lambert Tatman Funeral Home, Pike St., South Parkersburg, and from 11 a.m. until the time of service on Friday at the church.
