At the conclusion of every Bible study, they welcomed all participants to their home for a meal and made many Christian friends. She additionally participated in BSF Bible study and helped out in the children’s department. Later, she and John joined the First Presbyterian Church of Williamstown. Although her health was declining, Marjorie attended the Presbyterian Women’s Group and frequently led Bible studies. Marjorie was always admired for her Biblical knowledge and understanding of how the Gospel is woven throughout everyday life.
Marjorie fought Parkinson’s disease for over 23 years, but never let the disease interfere with her life’s activities. She never complained about her circumstances, but continued to help others and her family to the best of her ability.
