William H. Lauer

William H. “Bill” Lauer, age 77, of Bartlett, Ohio, passed away Monday, January 9, 2017 at Marietta Memorial Hospital. He was born May 12, 1939 in Newport, Ohio, a son of the late Dutch and Mary M. Smithberger Lauer Ullman. William was retired from Marietta Concrete and was a member of Jehovah Witness Church. He is survived by his wife, Jacqueline RiffleLauer; a son, Donald Lauer of San Antonio, Texas; daughters Judith Nicholson of Marietta, Ohio, Cheryl Garrett of Amesville, Ohio, and Carolyn Perine, of Amesville; a brother, Stanley Ullman, of Bartlett, Ohio; sisters Wanda Pallich of Meza Arizona and Myrtle Radcliff of Wichita Falls, Texas; and several grandchildren and great-grandchildren. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by brothers, Donald Lauer and Abraham Ullman; and a sister, Florence Lattimer. There will be no visitation or services. Cremation arrangements have been entrusted to Lambert-Tatman Funeral Home, Belpre, Ohio.
