Sandra (Fordyce) Erb, 48, of Mineral Wells, W.Va., departed this life on February 2, 2013.She was born on February 4, 1964, in Parkersburg, W.Va., the daughter of the late Vernon and Helen Fordyce. Sandie was very crafty and enjoyed flowers, writing poetry and scrapbooking.She was employed at Dudley's Florist for 30 years and enjoyed the challenge of seeing every new piece come to life.She was also employed at the Wood Co. Board of education as a cook where she loved her “Little Darlings” as she called them. Sandie enjoyed children and loved making them happy.She is survived by her husband, James Erb of Mineral Wells; one daughter, Stancy Carter of Louisburg, N.C.; five brothers, Gary Fordyce of Jackson, S.C., Mark (Christy Ryan) Fordyce of Parkersburg, Randy Fordyce of Pikeville, Ky., Scott Fordyce of Parkersburg,and Paul Fordyce of Grantsville, W.Va.; one sister, Kim (Jim Wade) Fordyce; and several nieces and nephews. She was also survived by her extended family, the Bibbee Family and Sams Family, they made her feel so loved and like family. She would like Jenny, Amy, Courtney, Ryan, Kyle, Maylynn, Katie, CJ, Scott, Summer, Russell and Jeremy to know that they held a special place in her heart.In addition to her parents she is preceded in death by her grandparents, Normus and Faye Vincent; Omer and Opal Fordyce; as well as several aunts and uncles.Funeral services will be held 2:00 on Wednesday, Feb. 6, at Lambert-Tatman Funeral Home, Pike St., South Parkersburg with Pastor Carl Radcliff officiating.Interment will follow at Mt. Zion Cemetery, Mineral Wells.Visitation will be from 2:00 – 8:00 p.m. on Tuesday, Feb. 5 at the funeral home.
