Paul Raymond Grandick, 60, of Williamstown, W.Va. went to be with the Lord, February 10, 2015 while on vacation in New Smyrna Beach, Florida.Paul was born May 18, 1954 in Clinton, Iowa, the son of the late Jerome, Sr. and Arla, Point Grandick.Paul served in the U.S. Army and retired from E. I. DuPont as a mechanic and he was a member of the Boaz Lions Club. He loved deeply and lived life to the fullest, having many of his dreams fulfilled. Paul enjoyed fishing, camping, Harleys, swimming, gardening and bicycling. One of his passions was music, especially rock n' roll, but nothing made him happier than spending time with his grandkids. He will be sadly missed by his family, friends and neighbors. He is survived by His wife of nearly 40 years, Jill Sims Grandick; two daughters, Jessica Bailey (Fred) of Williamstown, W.Va. and Mollie Grandick of Columbus, Ohio; one brother, Jerome Grandick, Jr. (Susan) of Williamstown; two nieces, Ashley and Katie Grandick; two grandchildren, Phen and Scarlett Bailey, and his pillow puppy, Max.In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by one infant brother, Anthony Grandick.Funeral services will be conducted 1:00 p.m., Friday, February 20, 2015 at the Lambert-Tatman Funeral Home, 3005 Grand Central Avenue, Vienna, West Virginia with Pastor Rick Hastings officiating.Burial will follow at Riverview Cemetery in Williamstown. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service.
