Noah John Westbrook, 76 of Parkersburg passed away March 27, 2017 surrounded by his family at Cleveland Clinic. He was born September 9, 1940 in Wood County, WV, son of the late Carl Eugene and Nellie Smith Westbrook. He was a 1959 graduate of Parkersburg High School. John was co-owner and manager of the Jungle Drive-In Theater in Parkersburg. John truly enjoyed providing the community with a quality atmosphere for families to gather and the children to play. He was an active outdoorsman and enjoyed hunting and fishing. He was a 50 year member of the Masonic Lodge in Parkersburg, a member of the Nemesis Shrine and a Baptist by faith. John is survived by a daughter, Anna Phillips of Vienna; a son, John Westbrook II (Lori) of Parkersburg; two grandchildren, Ricky Phillips II (Jazmine) and Jason Phillips; and two great-grandchildren, Anna R. Phillips and Avery Noah Phillips. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Doris Hopkins Westbrook; a son-in-law, Rick Phillips; and a brother, Carl Westbrook, Jr. Funeral services will be 1:00 p.m. Saturday, April 1, 2017 at the Celebration Center in Belpre, Ohio with Pastor Rob Clegg officiating. Burial will follow at Willow Island Cemetery in Pleasants County, WV. Visitation will be 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. Friday at the church. Lambert-Tatman Funeral Home, 400 Green St., Parkersburg is assisting the family with arrangements.
