Jamie Freeman, 43, of Belleville, WV, passed away on Monday, January 14, 2019 at his residence. He was born March 29, 1975, in Parkersburg, the son of Ruth Ann Staats Freeman of Belleville, WV and the late Dave Freeman. Jamie was a 1994 graduate of Parkersburg South High School. He worked for Dowler Masonry for 15 years as a block layer and currently worked for CS Masonry. Jamie was an avid coon hunter and a member of the Wood County Coonhunters Association and Barlow Coonhunters Association. He also enjoyed riding his buggy. In addition to his mother, Jamie is survived by his daughter, Regan Perkins and her mother, Tina Perkins of Washington, WV; his sister, Melissa Freeman of Parkersburg; his mother’s companion, Jeff Rucker; his friend and hunting buddy, James Lively; his loving dog and best friend, Sam, a Night Champion Treeing Walker Coonhound; and several aunts, uncles and cousins. In addition to his father, Jamie was preceded in death by his grandparents, several uncles and aunts. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, January 18, 2019 at Lambert-Tatman Funeral Home, 2333 Pike St, south Parkersburg with Pastor Lester Morgan officiating. Burial will follow at Sunset Memory Gardens. Visitation will be from 5-8 p.m. on Thursday at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers donations can be sent to Lambert-Tatman Funeral Home to assist with funeral expenses.
