James Franklin Kidd

James Franklin Kidd Sr., 80, of Lubeck, WV, passed away Sunday, January 13, 2019 at Camden Clark Medical Center. He was born November 30, 1938, in Washington County, OH, a son of the late John Franklin Kidd and Henrietta Jeanette Kidd Richardson (Glen). James retired from DuPont with over 38 years of service. He was a member of the Lubeck Volunteer Fire Department, coached little league baseball and attended Broadway Nazarene Church. James enjoyed hunting and fishing. He is survived by his wife, Ruth Rolston Kidd; two sons, James Franklin Kidd Jr. (Tracy) of Richmond, VA and Michael Andrew Kidd (Kathy) of Vienna; four grandchildren, Ashley Elizabeth Anderson (Chris) of Lubeck, Michael Adam Kidd of Parkersburg, Margaret Ruth Kidd and Olivia Elizabeth Kidd both of Richmond, VA; and two great-grandchildren, Lillian Elizabeth Anderson and Elijah Christopher Anderson both of Lubeck. Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. on Thursday, January 17, 2019 at Lambert-Tatman Funeral Home, 2333 Pike St, South Parkersburg with Pastor Dan Meek officiating. Burial will follow at Lubeck Cemetery. Visitation will be from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. on Wednesday and one hour prior to the service on Thursday at the funeral home.
