Elaine Myer

Elaine Myer, 93, formerly of Vienna, W.Va. passed away Thursday, November 16, 2017 at Camden Clark Medical Center. She was born January 5, 1924 in Kirksville, Missouri, a daughter of the late Leslie E. and Bertha Brawner Barrows. Elaine attended Northeast Missouri State Teachers College in Kirksville. She was a homemaker, enjoyed golfing, bridge, cooking, and Coterie Club. She was a member of the Wayside United Methodist Church in Vienna. Elaine is survived by one daughter, Leslie Noland, and one son, John Myer and wife, Betsy, all of Vienna; and one grandson, Robert Noland and wife, Tiffany, of Florida. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Dr. Harry Myer, DO; and one brother, Norman Barrows. Funeral services for Elaine will be 1:00 P.M. Tuesday, November 21, 2017 at the Lambert-Tatman Funeral Home, 3005 Grand Central Avenue, Vienna with Pastor Greg Blair officiating. Burial will follow in Mt. Olivet Cemetery, Parkersburg. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Monday, November 20th from 5:00-7:00 P.M. and from Noon until service time Tuesday. The family would like to thank the many caregivers and friends who have helped Elaine over the years.
