Benjamin David Cole, 62 of Vienna passed away July 26, 2013 at his residence.He was born November 6, 1950 in Parkersburg, son of the late Rev. Jewell (J.C.) Cole and Mary Shirley Cole. He was retired from Nickle's Bakery and worked to the closing of Stork Baking Co. He served his country in the U.S. Army during the Vietnam War. He was a member of the Life Line Apostolic Church in Vienna and was a member of the Patriot Honor Guard. He loved motorcycles and woodworking. Benjamin is survived by his wife, Michell Anderson Cole; two daughters, Mary Jo Cole of St. Louis, Missouri, and Davian Cole Elmasian (Nick) of Columbus, Ohio; two sons, Timothy W.R. Cole (Amanda) of Laken-Heath Air Force Base, England and Jeff Davis of Vienna;a sister, Hilda Cole Cunningham, and six grandsons. He was loved greatly by his wife's family.In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his brother, Rev. Billy Cole.Funeral services will be 1:00 p.m.Friday, August 2, 2013 at Lambert-Tatman Funeral Home, 3005 Grand Central Ave. Vienna, W.Va. with Pastor Danny Hopkins and Rev. Michael Anderson officiating. Burial will follow at Bethel Baptist Church Cemetery with full military rites by American Legion Post #15 of Parkersburg.Visitation will be 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Thursday and one hour prior to services Friday at the funeral home.
