Audrey “June” Roberts, 83 of Vincent, Ohio formerly of Parkersburg, W.Va. went home to be with her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, and to once again be with the love of her life, “Lee” her husband of 58 years on Nov. 10, 2015 surrounded by those she loved most dearly; her four kids, Sandy, Jeff, Susie, and Cindy.She was born June 10, 1932 in Wirt County, W.Va. the daughter of the late John M. and Emma G. Whystell Villers. She worked as a Dietary Manager with Turtle Creek Nursing Home and retired from the Willows Center in Parkersburg. She enjoyed sewing, cooking, and loved serving her community. June founded the “Senior Stitchers” group of Parkersburg was a member of the Volunteer Action Committee as well as the Bible Baptist Church.She is survived by three daughters, Sandra L. Bowen (Steve) of Tuppers Plains, OH, Debra “Susie” Calhoun and Cynthia L. Reynolds (Robert) both of Vincent, OH; a son, Jeffrey L. Roberts (Mary) of Vincent, OH; a brother, Harold Villers (Sharon) of Elizabeth, W.Va. She was the proud and loving Nanny to seven grandchildren, Matt and Brian (Becca Otto) Bowen, Michelle Roberts (Dan) Bayer, Melissa Roberts (Eric) Leslie, Nathan (Jaymie) and Jerrad (Deidra) Calhoun, and Terry Reynolds (Adam) Anderson; and she was the Grand Nanny to fourteen great-grandchildren, Addy and Brennen Bowen, Hayley, Addyson and Katelyn Bayer, Elijah Leslie, Tanner, Haven and Annie Calhoun, Reghan and Kenadi Calhoun and Chase, Cole, and Chloe Anderson.In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Arch “Lee” Roberts; five brothers, Russell, Ernest, Earl, Charles and John Jr. Villers; two sisters, Gertrude Robey and Geraldine Villers; a granddaughter, Kelly R. Bowen; and a son-in-law, Steve Calhoun.Funeral services will be 11:00 a.m., Saturday Nov. 14, 2015 at Lambert-Tatman Funeral Home, 400 Green St. Parkersburg with Pastor Paul White officiating. Burial will follow at Mt. Olivet Cemetery in Parkersburg. Visitation will be from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. Friday and one hour prior to services Saturday at the funeral home.The family wishes to thank Dr. Kelli Cawley for her compassion and care and Amedisys Hospice. The family requests donations be made in memory of June to the “Senior Stitchers” group 914 Market St. Parkersburg, WV 26101.
