Zachary Ryan Cale

Zachary Ryan Cale, 20, of Davisville, W.Va. passed away Friday, August 21, 2015 at the Camden Clark Medical Center.He was born January 21, 1995 at Ohio State University Hospital in Columbus, Ohio, the son ofCaroline Swisher Cale of Davisville and James Cale of Davisville. He was a sweet, kindhearted person, who never met a stranger. Zachary was a gifted artist and musician, enjoyed reading, writing poetry, collecting comic books, playing video games, collecting action figures, and loved his orange cat, Lauren. He attended Jefferson Elementary School and Hamilton Junior High School and was home schooled. Zachary attended Pleasant View Baptist Church and enjoyed spending time with friends and family.In addition to his parents, Zachary is survived by his grandmother, Betty Swisher Cowan of Davisville; several aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.He was preceded in death by his maternal grandfather, Charles Swisher; paternal grandparents, Okey P. and Mary Ellen Nulter Cale; step grandfather, his buddy, Donald E. Cowan and one uncle, Dana Cale.Funeral services will be 1:00 p.m. Tuesday, Aug. 25, 2015 at Lambert-Tatman Funeral Home, 2333 Pike St. Parkersburg with Pastor Jerry Caplinger officiating. Burial will follow at Mt. Olivet Cemetery. Visitation will be 3:00 p.m. to 5 p.m. and 6 to 8 p.m. Monday at the funeral home. The family wishes to thank Dr. Kelil and the staff nurses at ICU Camden Clark Medical Center in Parkersburg.
