Worthy Ray Dobbins

Worthy Ray Dobbins, 32, of Cowen, WV, passed away on Monday, September 9, 2019 at his residence. He was born March 20, 1987, in Steubenville, OH, a son of Hester Watson Carpenter of Parkersburg and the late Clarence Dobbins. Worthy was an owner and operator of his own logging business. He enjoyed fishing, hunting and being outdoors. In addition to his mother, he is survived by his three children, Clarence Troy Dobbins-Bragg, David Ray Dobbins-Bragg and James Ralph Dobbins-Bragg and their mother, Ashley Harper; six sisters, Ginamarie, Teresa, Pam, Amanda, Tammy and Jessica; and four brothers, Ron, Jasper, Wink and Sammy. In addition to his father, Worthy was preceded in death by his adopted parents, Danny and Carolyn Dobbins, which also was his sister; his infant child; and his three infant brothers. Visitation will be 1-3 pm on Saturday, September 14, 2019 at Lambert-Tatman Funeral Home, 2333 Pike St, south Parkersburg.
