Wilma Nell Snider

Wilma Nell Snider, 78, of Davisville, passed away peacefully November 3, 2024 at her residence. She was born November 28, 1946 in Wirt County, a daughter of the late Okey J. and Muriel M. Fought Strong.

She was a homemaker who enjoyed cooking, and was an avid flower gardener.

Left to honor her memory includes a close friend, Mark Gappa; Temperance Matheny; two brothers, Russell Strong (Linda) and Donnie Strong; and a sister-in-law, Mona Strong.

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Robert D. Snider; her sister, Doris Johnson; and her brother, Roger Strong.

A funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m., Friday, November 8, 2024 at Lambert Tatman Funeral Home, south Parkersburg with Pastor Kirk Busiek officiating. Burial will follow at K of P Cemetery in Elizabeth. Friends and loved ones will be welcomed for visitation from 10 – 11 a.m. on Friday.
