William Paul Summers

William Paul Summers, 91, of Vienna, passed away June 25, 2018 at his residence. He was born January 5, 1927 in Parkersburg, the son of the late Fred and Carrie V. Congleton Summers. William retired from the U.S. Navy, was a member of Wesley United Methodist Church, a Scout leader for Troop #101 and a member of Katooga Area Council of WV. He is survived by his wife Norma Workman Summers; one daughter, Gina (Danna) Rhyne of Vienna; two sons, Greg (Karen) Summers and Fred Summers both of Parkersburg; two sisters, June (Robert) Brown of Little Hocking, OH and Jo Ann Schott of Vienna; five grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren. Funeral services for William will be at 1:00 P.M. Thursday, June 28, 2018 at Lambert-Tatman Funeral Home, 3005 Grand Central Ave. Vienna, with Rev Carolyn Nettles officiating. Burial will follow the service at Mt. Olivet Cemetery, Parkersburg. Visitation will be at the funeral home on Wednesday the 27th. from 2:00-4:00 P.M. and 6:00-8:00 P.M.
