Ruble, 82, of Mineral Wells, W.Va., passed away on Oct. 7, 2010, at Camden Clark Memorial Hospital.He was born Sept. 2, 1928, in Wood County, W.Va., a son of the late Clarence and Margaret Beabout Ruble.William was a U. S. Army veteran and served in the Korean Conflict. He retired from FMC after 20 years of service and retired in 1991 from WVU-Parkersburg after 15 years of service in the Maintenance Department. He love gardening and was a member of the Pettyville United Methodist Church since birth.He is survived by his wife, Freda M. Walters Ruble; three sons, Mark (Deidre) Ruble of Belpre, Ohio, Thomas Ruble and David (Vicki) Ruble, both of Mineral Wells; four grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two sisters, Betty Partridge and Verna Hutson.Funeral services will be 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, Oct. 9, at Lambert-Tatman Funeral Home, Pike St., south Parkersburg with Pastor Phil Prunty and Pastor Lloyd Keith officiating. Interment will follow at Mt. Olivet Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 2:00 – 4:00 p.m. and 6:00 – 8:00 p.m. on Friday, Oct. 8, at the funeral home.
