William Edward Prince,

William E. Prince, Jr., 83, of Parkersburg passed away November 17, 2017 at his residence. He was born March 3, 1934 in Smithville, WV son of the late William E. Sr. and Clara M. Mills Prince. He was a U.S. Army veteran serving in the Armored Infantry 1956-1958. He was retired from the Local 1085 Laborer's International Union in Parkersburg and last worked at E.I. DuPont. He enjoyed hunting, fishing and was a NASCAR race fan. William is survived by his wife, Beverly A. Starcher Prince; a daughter, Ann-Marie Sweeten (Michael) of Olympia, WA; and two sisters, Virginia Gardener of Smithville, WV and Betty Fortney of Belpre, OH. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by three sisters, Elsie Cain, Edith Phillips and Lottie Belle Shafer.
