William Clayton Morehead

August 7, 1953 — October 18, 2024

William C. “Bill” Morehead age 71 of Vienna, WV passed away Friday, October 18, 2024 at the Camden Clark Medical Center.
He was born August 7, 1953 in Parkersburg, WV, a son of the late Elza C. and Grace Orlena Myers Morehead. Bill retired from the Emergence Medical Services and previously worked for Lambert-Tatman Ambulance Services for 22 years. He was a member of the Vienna Masonic Lodge #172, Vienna Recreation Board, Vienna Park Board and attended the Independent Baptist Church.
Bill is survived by his sons, William C. Morehead II, John W. Morehead (Jessica) and Bradley W. Morehead all of Vienna; his adopted son, Franklin D. Robinson and his children of Vienna and his grandchildren, Brayden, Paul and Emmitt Morehead.
In addition to his parents, Bill was preceeded in death by his wife, Teresa P. Richards Morehead.
Funeral services will be held 11:00 am Tuesday, October 22, 2024 at the Lambert-Tatman Funeral Home, Vienna with Pastor Mike Elder officiating. Interment will follow at the Parkersburg Memorial Gardens with Masonic Rites by Lodge #172. Visitation will be from 5:00 pm – 8:00 pm Monday at the funeral home.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to The Independent Baptist Church, 406 27th Street, Vienna, WV 26105, in memory of Bill.
