William J. Miller

William J. “Bill” Miller, 66 of Guysville, Ohio, passed away Tuesday, February 24, 2015 at his residence following an extended illness.He was born November 28, 1948 in Parkersburg, W.Va., a son of the late William Russell Miller and Dorothy Reese. He was raised by his beloved grandparents, Russell Odell Miller and Beatrice Jackson Miller. Bill was a quiet man known for his physical strength and athletic ability. He had previously worked at Johns Manville, Diamond Glass, Ames and Constellium Rolled Products (Alcan) in Ravenswood, W.Va. Bill was a faithful follower of Christ and attended Faith Community Chapel.Surviving is his wife, Nancy Delaval Miller; two step-daughters, Janine Ferraz and Gretchen Weinzimer both of Los Angeles, CA; and Greta Hanesworth, sister-in-law and her husband, Mark Hanesworth of Guysville.Funeral services will be held 2:00 p.m. Friday, February 27, 2015 at the Lambert-Tatman Funeral Home, 1305 Washington Blvd. Belpre with Pastor Bill Lowe officiating. Private interment will follow at the Rockland Cemetery.
