William David Hungate

William David Hungate II, 67, of Vienna, passed away Tuesday, September 24, 2024, at Camden Clark Medical Center. He was born February 27, 1957 in Parkersburg, West Virginia to the late William “Bill” David and Doris Lucille (Richards) Hungate.

David retired as a Field Service Technician at CBIZ Network Solutions in 2024. He was a member of Williamstown Church of God. David loved music and loved listening to it at full blast. He spent over 40 years serving churches as the audio and video engineer. David had a contagious laugh and was always looking to have fun. His jokes, stories, and laughter will be missed by those that knew and loved him.

He leaves behind to cherish his memory, his daughter, Michelle Atkinson (Eddie) of Vienna; his son, Joseph Hungate (Amanda) of Little Hocking, OH; and grandchildren, Kristin, Micah, and Caleb Atkinson, and Cole and Magnolia Hungate.

In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his wife, Debra Kaye Hungate.

Funeral services will be conducted at 11:00 am on Saturday, September 28, 2024, at 19th Street Church of God, Parkersburg, WV with Rev. Jimmie Cox officiating. Visitation will be Friday, September 27, 2024 at Lambert - Tatman Funeral Home, Vienna, WV from 4:00pm - 8:00pm and one hour prior to services on Saturday.
