William David Hall

William “David” Hall, 67, of Pittsburgh, PA, passed away May 21, 2025 at Ruby Memorial Hospital in Morgantown, WV. He was born November 25, 1957 in Parkersburg, WV, son of the late Eugene and Winona Pratt Hall.

David was a graduate of WVU and was the Director of Finance for the North Hills School District in Pittsburgh, PA until his retirement in 2020. Prior to that, he was a CPA with Deloitte in Pittsburgh. David loved carpentry and boating.

Left behind to cherish his memory is his spouse, Sharon Lipps Hall; one daughter, Stacy (Dennis) McCartney of Hopewell, PA; one son, Daniel Hall of Waverly, WV; three siblings, Catherine Hawkins of Parkersburg, WV, Joyce (Rocky) Graves of Lincoln, Nebraska and Joe (Darla) Hall of Vienna, WV; two grandchildren, Dominic Valenty and Brendan Hall and several nieces, nephews, grand-nieces, grand-nephews and cousins.

In addition to his parents, David was preceded in death by his brother-in-law, Greg Hawkins.

A memorial service will be planned at a later date.
