William Merle Dailey

William Merle “Bill” Dailey, 71, of Parkersburg, passed away November 2, 2012 at Ruby Memorial Hospital, Morgantown, W.Va.He was born July 25, 1941, in Vienna, W.Va., a son of the late Merle and Thelma Boston Dailey.Bill was a U.S. Army veteran and was a brick layer and masonry contractor.He enjoyed gardening, fishing and golf.Bill is survived by his five sons, William M. Dailey Jr., Stephen H. Dailey, Scott A. Dailey, Shane Dailey and Jason Dailey; three brothers, Bob “Puff” Dailey, James O. Dailey, and Max V. Dailey; one sister, Joan Cross; and his grandchildren.Graveside services will be held 2:00 p.m. Tuesday, Nov. 6, 2012 at Evergreen North Cemetery. Visitation will be from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Monday at the Lambert-Tatman Funeral Home, 3005 Grand Central Ave. Vienna, W.Va.
