William "Harrison" Crawford

William “Harrison” Crawford, 75, of Parkersburg, WV, passed away on May 30, 2018 after a short illness. Harrison was born in Sutton, WV, to John Q. Crawford and Eva Mae (McElwain) Crawford. He is survived by two siblings, a brother, David Noel McElwain of Phillipi and sister, Thelma Jane (Ann) Cunningham of Joplin, MO; nieces, nephews and lots and lots of great-nieces and nephews; his loving companion, love of his life and partner in crime, Joanne Dulin, that he met shortly after moving to Unity Plaza when they were inseparable. You likely seen them cruising south side on their three wheel bikes. William served in the Korean War in the Army and was stationed in Germany for 36 months and received several medals for his service. In addition to his parents, William was preceded in death by three sister, Helen Crawford, Sallie Kuhl and Julia Michael. Funeral services will be held at 12:00 p.m. on Monday, June 4, 2018 at Lambert-Tatman Funeral Home, 2333 Pike St, south Parkersburg with Pastor Denzil Null officiating. Interment will follow at Sugar Creek Cemetery in Braxton County, WV. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service on Monday at the funeral home.
