Wilbert "Dave" David Wright

Wilbert David “Dave” Wright age 87 of Washington, WV passed away Sunday, January 12, 2025 at the Eagle Pointe Nursing Facility.

He was born August 7, 1937 in Wood County, WV, a son of the late Wilbert and Juanita Marie Glover Wright.  Dave was a retired US Air Force Veteran having served for more than 23 years. He loved making teddy bears with his wife Juanita Grace and enjoyed woodworking. Dave was a member of the South Parkersburg Baptist Church.

He is survived by his children, Matthew David “Matt” Wright (Jeannie) of Parkersburg, WV and Theodore Lee Wright of Spokane, WA; his siblings, Laura Lee Wright, Sandra Flinn, Jimmy Wright and Gary Wright; four grandchildren, Andrew Wright, Ashlee Wright, Cathy Prunty and John Hayes and four great-grandchildren.

In addition to his parents, Wilbert was preceded in death by his wife, Juanita Grace Wright; two children, Hope Erlene Dame and Earl Hayes; his siblings, Martha Hall, Nolan Wright and Jerry Wright and his companion, Elma Lang.

In keeping with Wilbert’s wishes, there will be no services. Lambert-Tatman Funeral Home, Pike St, south Parkersburg is honored to serve the Wright family.
