Warren Howard Ware, 90, of Parkersburg, W.Va.passed away Saturday, July 30, 2011 at the Willows Center.He was born November 1, 1920 in Walker, W.Va. a son of the late Henry Adam and Mary Alice Stephens Ware. He was a U.S. Army veteran of World War II. He worked in production for 22 years at King Corporation and retired after 13 years of service from A.B. Chance Corp. He enjoyed working crossword puzzles, horseshoes, and playing the harmonica. He was a member of the 1st Church of the Nazarene.Warren is survived by his wife of 65 years, Betty L. Hopkins Ware; three sons, David Ware (Beverly), Randy Ware (Jenny), and Melvin Ware (Cindy) all of Parkersburg, W.Va.; two sisters, Ethel Rollison of Parkersburg, W.Va., and Mable Brookover of Colorado; eight grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two brothers, and four sisters. Funeral services will be 11:00 a.m. Thursday, August 4, 2011 at the Lambert-Tatman Funeral Home, 400 Green Street, Parkersburg, W.Va. with the Rev. Keith Hostutler and Rev. Bert Grant officiating. Burial will follow at Mt. Carmel Cemetery in Walker, W.Va. Visitation will be 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. and 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home.
