Wanda Mae Staats

Wanda Mae Staats 75 of Williamstown, W.Va. went home to be with her Lord and Savior Saturday, July 27, 2013.She was born August 10, 1937 in Vienna, W.Va., a daughter of the late Albert and BeulahKimbelElliott.Wanda had previously worked at the Williamstown Elementary School where she enjoyed cooking. She loved taking care of her family and her home.Surviving is her husband of 55 years, Blaine Staats, they were married August 6, 1957; three sons, Steven Leon Staats (Debbie) of Waverly, W.Va., Randal Joseph Staats (Kim) of Whipple, OH, and Paul Adam Staats (Luanna) of Boaz, W.Va.; three brothers, Charles Elliott of Wheeling, W.Va., David Elliott (Jenny) and Arthur Elliott both of Parkersburg, W.Va.; and grandchildren, Shawn Staats of Deerwalk, W.Va. and Cory, Katrina, and Michael Perdue all of Boaz, W.Va.In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by four brothers, Harry, John, Bob and Junior Elliott; and one sister, Betty McFee.Funeral services will be held 2:00 p.m. Tuesday, July 30, 2013 at Lambert-Tatman Funeral Home,3005 Grand Central Ave. Vienna, W.Va. with Pastor David Cumpston officiating. Interment will follow at the Parkersburg Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be from 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. and 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Monday at the funeral home.
