Wanda Faye Riley, 85, of Cincinnati, Ohio, passed away peacefully on February 13th, 2023.
She was born in Parkersburg, West Virginia in 1938 to Raymond Riley and Kathleen Faye Wiggins Riley.
She dedicated her career to helping the hearing impaired, founding Wanda F. Riley Hearing Aid Services in Camp Hill, Pa. where she remained an independent businesswoman for 28 years until retiring in 2008 and relocating to Cincinnati. She was a strong advocate for the hearing impaired and worked closely with the Lions Club to improve the lives of individuals with limited income by providing hearing instruments at little or no cost. She loved life, including wildlife, and felt a strong commitment to enhancing it on all levels. She was a strong supporter of the Sierra Club and the National Wildlife Federation.
Wanda is survived by her 3 children, Scott Beall of Cincinnati, OH, Julia McKelvey of Lemoyne, Pa and John Beall of Seattle, WA, her granddaughter, Sarah of Cincinnati, and her two grandsons, Jacob, and Jackson of Lemoyne Pa. She is also survived by a niece, Traci, four grand nephews, a son-in-law, and a daughter-in-law.
A celebration of Wanda’s life will be held this summer in Belpre, Ohio. In lieu of flowers, donations in Wanda’s name to the Sierra Club are appreciated. PO Box 606, Harrisburg, PA 17108.
