Wanda Joyce Dornon

Joyce Dornon, 58, of Parkersburg, passed away Thursday, January 10, 2019 at Parkersburg Care and Rehab. She was born February 21, 1960, in Parkersburg, the daughter of the late Olen E. and Helen J. Price Ward. Joyce was a homemaker and enjoyed time fishing and spending time with family. She was a member of Belleville Baptist Church. She enjoyed watching the Pittsburgh Pirates and Williamstown High School Football. She is survived by her husband of 37 years, Randy L. Dornon; two daughters, Sarah E. Dornon of Parkersburg and Leanna J. Dornon of Mineral Wells; two sisters, Rhonda Bumgarner and Becky Herrington (David) all of Elizabeth, WV; paternal grandmother, Mildred Ward of Grantsville, WV; plus several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held 11:00 a.m. on Monday, January 14, 2019 at Lambert-Tatman Funeral Home, 2333 Pike St, south Parkersburg with Pastor John Watkins officiating. Burial will follow at Riverview Cemetery in Williamstown, WV. Visitation will be from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home. The family would like to send a special thank you to the Parkersburg Care and Rehab Center for their care and support given to Joyce.
