Wanda Knopp Buckley

Wanda Knopp Buckley, 83, of Parkersburg, passed away on Friday, December 6, 2019, at Eagle Point Nursing Facility. She was born March 9, 1936, in Roane County, WV, a daughter of the late Harold Clifford and Charlottie Staats Knopp. Wanda was a graduate of Parkersburg High School and retired from United Fund and Chalfant Reality where she was an office manager. She was a member of DAR, TOPS, Parents without Partners and a former 4-H leader. Wanda enjoyed traveling and genealogy. She was a member of South Parkersburg United Methodist Church. She is survived by her five children, Cliff Buckley (Jody), Bill Buckley, Rick Buckley, Julia Moreland (Russ) all of Parkersburg and Charles Buckley of Ault, Colorado; one sister, Ursula Myers of Columbus, OH; one brother, Lewis Knopp (Sue) of The Villages, FL; seven grandchildren, Wesley, Marcia (Larry Kearns), Brittany (Jonathan Graham), Collin and Derek Buckley (Rena), Brad Moreland (Heather) and Mary Ann Elkins (Justin); and six great-grandchildren, Olivia, Charli, Liam, Lincoln Buckley, and Sebastian and Isaac Graham. In addition to her parents, Wanda was preceded in death by her husband, Marion W. Buckley; two brothers, Wayne and Harold Knopp; and one sister, Anna Deane Casto. Funeral services will be held at 1 pm on Monday, December 9, 2019, at Lambert-Tatman Funeral Home, 2333 Pike St, south Parkersburg with Pastor Jim Plyburn officiating. Burial will follow at Evergreen North Cemetery. Visitation will be from 2-4 & 6-8 pm on Sunday at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers donations can be made to Wood County 4-H Trustees, #1 Court Square Suite 408 Parkersburg, WV, 26101 in memory of Wanda.
