Walter Harvey Allen

Walter Harvey Allen II, 78, of Vienna, passed away Friday, September 22 at Marietta Memorial Hospital, Marietta, Ohio. He was born in Carmi, Illinois, the son of Walter H. and Viola Ridens Allen. Walter was the owner of ABCO Oil & Gas, an airplane and helicopter pilot, and loved to play pool. He is survived by two daughters, Mary Lee White of Belpre, Ohio, and Cherie Hyde (Dale); one son, Walter H. Allen III of Vincent, Ohio; one sister, Bonnie Smith of Carmi, Illinois; three grandchildren, Justin Allen, Drake Hyde, and Lelah Allen; and one great-grandchild, Piper Marie Allen. In addition to his parents, Walter was preceded in death by his wife, Mary Parker Allen in 1995 and an uncle, Charlie Ridens.
