Vivian Louise Roberts

Vivian Louise Roberts (Loiseau), age 84, died of cancer on March 17, 2018, in Parkersburg, WV. Louise was born on January 6, 1934 in Parkersburg, to the parents, Alfred Jules Loiseau and Pluma Mae Parsons (Loiseau). She attended Parkersburg High School and graduated from Mountain State Business College in 1964 with a degree in Business. She retired from The Bureau of Public Debt, Parkersburg and worked eight years at the American Viscose, until its closing. Louise was a loving mother and had over 50 wonderful years with her husband, Wayne. She loved bowling and her beloved dog, Freeway. Louise is survived by her husband, Edgar Wayne Roberts of Parkersburg; her eldest son, Francis Eugene Hale of Raleigh, NC; her step-daughter, Rhonda Sue Farr of Parkersburg; and her step-son, Richard Wayne Roberts of Virginia. Louise also had six grandchildren and eight great grandchildren. In addition to her parents, Louise was preceded in death by her youngest son, Charles Alfred Murphy of Grantsville, WV; her step-daughter, Goldie Jane Roberts of Florida; two sisters, Violet Madeline Fleming (Loiseau) and Loretta Virginia McCloy (Loiseau) both of Parkersburg; five step-brothers and one step-sister. Per her wishes, Louise will be cremated and there will be no public viewing or funeral services. The family will have a private memorial. Donations can be sent to an animal shelter of your choice in honor of Louise's love of animals.
