Vivian M. Rexroad, 94, of Parkersburg left this earth on July 18, 2018 at Belpre Landing Nursing Facility. She was born September 24, 1923 in Millwood, WV daughter of the late William Horton Abbott and Dora Polsley Abbott. She had worked at Public Debt and was a member of Stout Memorial United Methodist Church. Vivian is survived by two daughters, Joyce A. Eberhart (Daryl) of Englewood, CO and Kathy J. Powers (Greg) of Myrtle Beach, SC; a step-son, Jerry Rexroad (Dee) of Summerville, SC; a brother, Edwin Abbott of Ravenswood, WV; six grandchildren, Rian Johns (Ryan), Missy Powers, Niki Lofton, Natalie Rosato (Jerry), Bobby Menear (Kelli) and Gary Powers; and ten great-grandchildren, Adela, Jade and Malachi Johns, Zaria Lofton, Sofia and Anthony Rosato, Rowan, Ramsee and Rexton Menear and Lauren Powers. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Omer T. “Bud” Rexroad; two sisters, Clara Mae Hart and Mildred Reed; and two brothers, Wayne and Charles Abbott. Funeral services will be held Noon, Monday July 23, 2018 at Lambert-Tatman Funeral Home, 400 Green St. Parkersburg with Rev. Cindy Eakle officiating. Burial will follow at Mt. Olivet Cemetery. Visitation will be 11 a.m. to time of service Monday at the funeral home.
