Virginia Ellen (Mancuso) Jeffrey

Virginia Ellen (Mancuso) Jeffrey (everyone knew her as “Ginny”) of Largo, FL, formerly of Parkersburg, passed away peacefully of natural causes on November 3rd, 2020 at age 97.She was born September 3, 1923 and was the daughter of the late Mary and Frank Mancuso. Ginny was a graduate of Roosevelt Wilson High School with the class of 1943. She was married to R.M. Jeffrey in 1949. She had been employed as a teacher's aide and had worked at Nashua photo. She was an active member of Stout Memorial United Methodist Church for 50 years and was a member of the Upper Room Sunday school class, Rebecca Circle and the Prime time club. Surviving are two sons and five grandchildren: William F. Jeffrey (Bill), wife Karen, daughter Kristen, sons Alex and Ryan and Steven A. Jeffrey (Steve) wife Lisa, daughters Stephanie and Sara; one brother, Paul R. Mancuso and wife Theresa of Clarksburg. WV. She was preceded in death by her husband of 51 years, Revett Milton Jeffrey; four brothers, John Mancuso, Sam Mancuso, Tony Mancuso and Joe Mancuso, all of Clarksburg, WV and three sisters, Angeline Martino, Rose Marcurella and Sarah Utzie. Ginny really enjoyed socializing, reading, playing games (she was very competitive) and mastered her iPad! She moved to Florida in February 2013 to be closer to family. She really enjoyed her time there and all the many new friends. She was in many clubs and particularly enjoyed being a member of the Chimes Orchestra. She was a beautiful person, friend to all, amazing wife, mother and grandmother and was loved dearly. We will miss her! Rest in peace! Funeral services will be 2 P.M., Tuesday, November 10, 2020 at Lambert-Tatman Funeral Home, 3005 Grand Central Avenue, Vienna.Stacy Hoover, from Stout Memorial United Methodist Church, will officiate and services will conclude with interment in Mt. Olivet Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 1 until 2 PM, Tuesday at the funeral home. Because of the pandemic, masks and social distancing will be required at the funeral home. For those considering an expression of sympathy, memorials are preferred to Ginny's favorite charity, at your local Salvation Army.
