Violet Lee Tant

Violet Lee Tant, 82 of Belleville, W.Va. passed away Dec. 28, 2014 at her residence.She was born April 18, 1932 in Wood County, W.Va., a daughter of the late Howard and Nellie Collins Backus. Violet is survived by three sons, Michael Tant (Mindy) of Belpre, Ohio, Shawn Tant of Parkersburg, W.Va., and John Tant of Vienna, W.Va.; sister, Loretta Ankrom (Kenneth) of Belleville; brother, David Backus of Vienna; seven grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by a daughter, Jane Tant; and granddaughter, Missy Whytsell.Memorial services will be held at a later date. Lambert-Tatman Funeral Home and Cremation Services is assisting the family with arrangements.
