Violet Virginia Bunner (Vincent)

Violet Virginia Bunner (Vincent), long time resident of Parkersburg, WV passed peacefully amongst family on Sunday, May 5th, 2024 at the age of 99. She was born on February 11, 1925 in Clarksburg, WV and moved to Parkersburg after getting married.
Violet was a homemaker as a young wife and mother, but she eventually went on to work for Public Debt which she retired from after many years of service. Those who knew Violet would describe her as spirited, energetic, strong-willed, and always up for running around town. She loved going to bingo and Mary B’s with her friends, attending family cookouts in the summer, and sitting on her front porch when the weather was nice.
Violet was preceded in death by her late husband, Frank O. Bunner and is survived by her three children, David L. Bunner, Carol Howard Green, and James F. Bunner. She has seven grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren. She lived a long life, and she will be missed by her family, friends, and community.
A short visitation will be held at 11:00 AM on Friday, May 10, 2024 at Lambert-Tatman Funeral Home, Green St. Burial will follow at Mt. Olivet Cemetery.
