Vincent Roland Stapp

Vincent Roland Stapp, 54, passed away unexpectedly at home on Tuesday, April 24, 2018. He was born August 21, 1963, in Mena, AR, the son of Roland O. and Sharon M. Mullins Stapp of Belpre, Ohio. Vincent was a 1981 graduate of Belpre High School. He honorably served his country in the U.S. Air Force, Coast Guard and the Army Corp of Engineers. Vincent was an active member of The First Assembly of God in Parkersburg and worked as an Administrative Assistant at The Department of Treasury Fiscal Services. In addition to his parents, he is survived by his wife, Sarah K. Sweeney Stapp; his three children, Jeriaka, Eli and Thomas Stapp all at home; his sister, Teresa Annette Morris (Barry) of Belpre, Ohio; several nieces, nephews, along with a host of other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his grandparents and in-laws. A memorial service will be held at The First Assembly of God at a later date. The family would like to thank Emergency Medical Services and all the first responders for their special care. Also, Dr. Randall Heavner, Vincent’s personal physician, for his years of care. Lambert-Tatman Funeral Home, 2333 Pike St, south Parkersburg is assisting the family.
