Victor M. Scholl

Victor M. Scholl 80, of Vienna, W.Va. passed away January 9, 2016 at The Heartland of Marietta. He was born July 30, 1935 in Nicholas County, W.Va., the son of the late Emil and Arla Legg Scholl. Victor was a member of the U.S. Army and served in the Korean Conflict. He enjoyed old airplanes and spending time with his grandchildren.. He belonged to the American Legion and Grace Baptist Church. He is survived by his wife, Shirley Shelton Scholl; three daughters, Leigh Ann Hughes (Frank) of Columbus, Ohio, Brenda Harkness (Bob) of Newark, W.Va. and Terri Francis (Kent) of Proctorville, Ohio; one son, Stephen Scholl (Sheri) of Vienna; one sister, Mary McCutheon of Florida; six grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by one brother and two sisters. As per his wishes there will be no service or visitation.
