Vicki Lynne Hanzelka

Vicki Lynne Hanzelka, 47, of Vincent, Ohio passed away May 11, 2014. She was born July 22, 1966, in Blytheville, Arkansas, a daughter of Melvin and Glenda Potter of Neon, KY. She was born again on June 8, 1997, receiving Jesus as her Lord and Savior.Vicki was a substitute teacher and school secretary. She loved the outdoors, gardening, fishing, spending time with her grandchildren and was a House Goddess to her family.In addition to her parents, she is survived by her husband, Michael D. Hanzelka; one daughter, Ashley Elliott of Portland, Texas; two brothers, Tim Potter, and Jeff Potter and wife, Charlene, all of Neon, Kentucky; and grandchildren, Stacy and Elaine Thomson.She was preceded in death by her grandparents, John and Alta Mosgrove and Jesse and Mary Potter; and her brother, Julius Wayne Maggard.Funeral services will be held 7:00 p.m. Thursday, May 15, 2014 at the Lambert-Tatman Funeral Home, 1305 Washington Blvd. Belpre, Ohio with Pastor David Ellenwood officiating. Visitation will be from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home.
