Verna Dell Garrison

Verna Dell Garrison, 86, of Parkersburg, W.Va. passed away January 14, 2016, at Camden Clark Medical Center. She was born December 1, 1929, in Parkersburg, the daughter of the late John Charles and Forrest Mahoney Staton. Verna was a Nurse's Aide for St. Josephs Hospital and Camden Clark Memorial Hospital. She is survived by one daughter, Diana Shreeves of Parkersburg; three grandchildren, Melissa Houston, Jeffrey Wade (Jessica) and Amy Radcliff; nine great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her first husband, Don Louis DeVaughn; her second husband, Jack Garrison; one son, Don Louis DeVaughn, Jr.; one daughter, Sarah Beth Day; and several infant children. In lieu of flowers, come and buy your lunch at Gran Ranchero Restaurant, 300 Park Shopping Center, Parkersburg, WV, from 1:30-3:00 P.M. Thursday, January 21, 2016, to celebrate her life with family and friends.
