Vera H. Musgrave

Vera H. Musgrave, 88, of Vienna, W.Va. passed away September 20, 2016 at the Willows Center in Parkersburg, W.Va. She was born December 6, 1927 in Aberdeen, Scotland the daughter of the late Douglas and Agnes Stewart Kemp.Vera was a homemaker and especially loved her many years as a foster grandparent at Neale Elementary School in Vienna. She was a resident of Pleasant View Towers for over 32 years. She will be missed by the many friends she made over the years, especially her best friend, Patty Leiker. She is survived by one daughter, Margaret Kurtz (Brad) of North Carolina; two step-sons, Dwight Musgrave (Sandra) and Earl Musgrave; two grandchildren, Sherri Cawley (Doug) and Jonathan Krempach (Elizabeth); three great-grandchildren and many beloved step-grandchildren and nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Richard Musgrave; two sons, David and Graham Bakewell; step-son, Robbin Musgrave; sister, Margaret Little; and brother, Douglas Kemp. Memorial Service for Vera will be at 2:00 p.m. Saturday, September 24, 2016 at Lambert-Tatman Funeral Home, 3005 Grand Central Ave., Vienna with Pastor Bill Dunfee officiating. Visitation will be at the funeral home on Saturday one hour prior to the service.
