Trudy Kay Kerby

Trudy Kay Kerby, beloved wife, mother, sister, grandmother, and friend, passed away on Saturday, June 20, 2026, at the age of 60.

Born on Thursday, September 30, 1965, Trudy was a beacon of love and kindness to all who knew her. A proud graduate of Parkersburg High School, she chose to dedicate her life to her family as a homemaker, creating a warm and nurturing environment for all those she loved. Her heart was happiest at the beach, and being accompanied by her grandchildren and her dog, Beau.

Trudy was preceded in death by her parents, Thomas and Shirley Buck Vincent, and her brother, Kevin Vincent. Her memory is lovingly carried on by her devoted husband, Wayne Kerby; her daughters, Anna Hilverding and Stephanie Mercer; her brother, Ray Fleming and his wife Julie; her sister, Rhoda McFee; her grandchildren, James Lively, Kynlee Ankrom, Aleigha Ankrom, and Remington Hilverding; and her great-granddaughter, Emersyn Varney.

A gathering of family and friends will be held on Wednesday, June 24, 2026, from 5:00 to 6:00 p.m. at Lambert Tatman Funeral Home, located at 400 Green Street, Parkersburg, followed by a funeral service at 6:00 p.m. the same evening.

The Kerby family expresses profound gratitude for the love and support shown to them during this difficult time. Trudy's warmth, humor, and generous spirit will forever be remembered by those who were fortunate enough to know her.
