Cunningham, 57 of Parkersburg, W.Va. went to be with the Lord Feb. 3, 2014 at Camden Clark Medical Center, St. Joseph's Campus. She was born May 15, 1956 in Wood County, W.Va. a daughter of Donna McCrady Adkins of Parkersburg and the late William Mowery Sr.She was a graduate of Parkersburg High School and attended Parkersburg Community College. She worked at St. Joseph's Hospital for 27 years working in the mental health dept. and as a staff technician in the emergency room. She enjoyed growing herbs, making candles, arts & crafts and collecting elephant figurines and salt & pepper shakers. She loved the outdoors, fishing and especially her pets. She was a free spirit who will be greatly missed by all who knew her.In addition to her mother and step-father, Bob Adkins, Tonda is survived by her husband, Mitch Cunningham; brothers, William “Bill” Mowery of Parkersburg, W.Va. and Randy Mowery (Marion) of Elizabeth, W.Va.; sister, Cindy Mowery of Parkersburg; Julie Griffith a friend who was like a sister; nieces, Alicia Nester (Jason) and Amanda Mowery (Buddy Roberts); great-nephews, Noah, Brady and Jett; several other nieces and nephews; and her mother-in-law, Patty Jean Cunningham.In addition to her father she was preceded in death by a brother, Michael Mowery.A Celebration of Life will be held from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. Friday, Feb. 7, 2014 at Lambert-Tatman Funeral Home, 400 Green St. Parkersburg.
