Tom E. Hale, 80, of Mineral Wells, WV, passed away on June 6, 2017 at Camden Clark Medical Center. He was born January 18, 1937, in Parkersburg, WV, a son of the late Walter and Mabel Haubeil Hale. Tom was a U.S. Marine veteran and was owner/operator of Hale Plumbing for several years. He enjoyed hunting with his son and grandchildren and spending time with his family. He was a member of the Big Tygart United Methodist Church. He is survived by his wife of 61 years, Mary Jane Stephens Hale; two daughters, Vicki Biojo Hale (Fabrizzio) of Delaware, OH., and Kim Hale Rhodes (Keith) of Mineral Wells; a daughter in-law, Marci Hale of Belleville; one sister in-law, Janice Hale; one nephew, Tony Hale; one brother in-law, John Bryan; one niece, Debbie Murray; eight grandchildren, Brandi Moore (Matt) of Delaware, OH., Derek Caplinger (Sara) of Delaware, OH., Jarrod Hill (Ashley) of Belleville, WV, Ashley Bonnette (Tyson) of Waterford, OH, Emily Hale of Belleville, WV, Morgan Archer of Parkersburg, Katie Rhodes of Mineral Wells, and Miranda Phillips (Jonathan) of Rockport, WV; and eleven great-grandchildren. In addition to his parents Tom was preceded in death by his son, Jeff Hale; brother, Don Hale; and a sister, Ruth Bryan. Funeral services will be held at 11:a.m. on Friday, June 9, 2017 at Lambert-Tatman Funeral Home, 2333 Pike St., south Parkersburg with Pastors Rod Blanchard and Jerry Caplinger officiating. Interment will follow at the Big Tygart Cemetery in Mineral Wells. Visitation will be from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. and 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. on Thursday at the funeral home.
