Tilista “Collaine” Workman Brand, 80, of Parkersburg passed away on January 19, 2016 at The Arbors of Marietta. She was born July 9, 1935, in Parkersburg, the daughter of the late Arnett and Ermal Kuhl Edwards. Collaine graduated from Parkersburg High School, class of 1953. Upon graduation she held various clerical positions and retired from the Bureau of Public Debt in 1994 after 24 years of service. After her retirement she enjoyed care giving for the homebound and elderly. She was a member of the South Parkersburg Baptist Church and enjoyed having devotions and lunch each month with the Senior Single Sisters group. She was also a member of the DAR – Blennerhassett Chapter, American Legion Auxiliary 15, South Parkersburg Woman's Club, and the Red Hat Society. She enjoyed watching sports, reading, quilting, crocheting and genealogy. She is survived by three sons, Mark Workman and his wife, Earlene of Vienna, W.Va., Jeffrey (Elizabeth Deem) Workman and Martin “Marty” Workman, both of Parkersburg; five grandchildren, Jason (Sarah) Workman of Huntington, W.Va., Eric (Kindell) Workman of Monroe, N.C., Matthew (Robyn) Workman of Phoenix, Ariz., Andrea Allen Way, Michael Foster, and Jeremy Workman, all of Parkersburg; nine great-grandchildren, Cole Workman, Chase Workman, Logan Allen, Jonathan Workman, Tatum Allen, Tessa workman, Emery Workman, Skylar Workman, and Mason Workman; and several nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her first husband and father of her children, Jack Workman in 1972; her former husband, Paul Brand in 1992; two brothers and one sister-in-law, Donzil Cleo Edwards and Thurlin (Kathleen) Edwards. Funeral services will be held on 11:00 a.m. on Friday, Jan. 22, at Lambert-Tatman Funeral Home, Pike St., South Parkersburg with Pastor Joe Busch officiating. Interment will follow at Mt. Olivet Cemetery. Visitation will be from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. on Thursday at the funeral home and one hour prior to services.
