Thomas "Toad" Anthony Fordyce

Thomas Anthony Fordyce -“Toad”- passed away at the age of 54, on Friday, July 5, 2019 at Riverside Methodist Hospital. Toad/Tommy was born on January 30, 1965 in Parkersburg, WV, a son of Raymond and Janice Fordyce. He graduated from Parkersburg South in 1983. He was employed by Polymer Alliance Services, and managed his family business at Low Places Tavern. Tommy also worked many years at Excel Logistics. He had a passion for dirt track racing, wrestling, and his family. He won many races in his #02 and #04 cars, and he took pride in coaching The Mineral Wells Mustangs. He was also the head coach for Mineral Wells Wrestling. In addition to his parents, he is survived by his wife Misti; his two children, Sasha (Shannon Anderson) and Travis (Courtnie Pasadyn) Fordyce; two step-children, Brandon Gribble and Amber Swearingen; his three brothers, Raymond jr “Jed” (Shawna) Fordyce, Jody (Veronica) Fordyce; William “Bill” (Shawna) Fordyce, and one sister, Debbie (Wayne Duffield) Fordyce; his five grandchildren, Javon Young, Jayse and Rhett Anderson, Noah and Laynie Fordyce and several cousins and nieces. He was preceded in death by his daughter, Ashley Young. Funeral services will be held at 1 pm on Wednesday, July 10, 2019 at Lambert-Tatman Funeral Home, 2333 Pike St, south Parkersburg with Dorothy Fordyce officiating. Burial will follow at Sunset Memory Gardens. Visitation will be from 11 am to 1 pm on Wednesday at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers donations can be made to Parkersburg South Wrestling 2118 Nash St. Parkersburg, WV 26101.
