Thomas Nelson, Jr. 83, of Vienna, W.Va., passed away December 17, 2015 at his residence. He was born February 4, 1932 in South Williamson, KY, the son of the late Thomas Nelson, Sr. and Lucy Brewer Nelson. Tom was a Korean War Veteran, road salesman for 32 years for B & I Wholesale and a member of Wayside United Methodist Church. He is survived by his wife, Dalphine Blackburn Nelson; one daughter, Colette McMillion (Timothy) of Parkersburg; one son, Rev. Dr. Gary E. Nelson (Patti) of Nitro, WV; one sister, Janet Farley of Lorain, Ohio; four grandchildren, Tom Nelson, Rebekah Tarbet, Robert McMillion and Nick McMillion; and two great-grandchildren, Lylee McMillion and Reese Nelson. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by seven sisters. A family graveside service will follow at a later date. Lambert-Tatman Funeral and Cremation Services of Vienna is helping the family with arrangements. The family requests memorial donations be made in Tom's name to Wayside United Methodist Church or Good Samaritan Center located at the church.
