Thomas Ray “Tom” Mollohan, 70, of Waverly, W.Va., passed away on January 14, 2015 at Marietta Memorial Hospital.He was born January 20, 1944, in Glen Ferris, W.Va., a son of the late W. Ray and Virginia Austin Mollohan.Tom was a 1963 graduate of Gauley Bridge High School and retired from the U.S. Navy and Walker Lift where he was a Field Mechanic. He currently was employed at Marietta Memorial Hospital as a security guard. He was a member of the Patriot Guard, bowled with the Senior League at Emerson Bowling Lanes, was a member of the American Legion Post 15 of Parkersburg and Crossroads United Methodist Church where he sang in the choir. He was an avid sportsman who loved the outdoors an was a member of the NRA. He had previously been active with the Boy Scout Troop #47. He is survived by his wife of 48 years, Alice Bunner Mollohan; his son, Brian Mollohan of Waverly, W.Va.; three grandchildren, Hannah, Caitlyn and Jacob Mollohan; his sister, Charlotte Mollohan Moreland of Annapolis, Md.; and several nieces and nephews.In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death of his son, Andrew Scott Mollohan.Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, Jan. 17, 2015 at Lambert-Tatman Funeral Home,2333Pike St., Parkersburg, W.Va. with Pastor Teresa Markins officiating. Interment will follow at Hartley Cemetery in Brohard, W.Va. Visitation will be from 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. and 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Friday at the funeral home.
