Thomas Lee Vincent, 70, of Vienna, W.Va., passed away May 30, 2012 at Camden-Clark Medical Center, Memorial Campus, following a short but bravely fought battle with cancer.He was born on February 21, 1942 in Parkersburg, W.Va., a son of the late James Henry and Geneva Dailey Vincent. Tom was a retired truck-driver and spent many years on the open road traveling the country with several different trucking companies. His most joy in life came from his family and just being with the ones he loved. He is survived by his wife of 53 years, Shirley Marie Buck Vincent; two daughters, Trudy Kerby (Wayne) and Rhoda McFee (Dave), both of Parkersburg, W.Va.; two sons, Kevin Vincent (Karen) of Mineral Wells, W.Va. and Raymond Fleming (Julie) of Parkersburg, W.Va.; one sister, Phyllis Dines also of Parkersburg, W.Va.; two brothers, Tim Vincent of Marietta, Ohio, and Jim Vincent also of Parkersburg, W.Va.; 10 grandchildren, Anna M. Lively, Stephanie M. Mercer, Tessa Davis, Travis Vincent, Tyler Vincent, Melanie Riser, Tabby McFee, Christopher Fleming, Jessica, and Kevin Riser; and 14 great-grandchildren, Alex Lively, Remington Grace Hilverding, Kynlee Ankrom, Aleigha Ankrom, Sydney Satow, Audrey Davis, Cooper Davis, Katie Vincent, Andrew Hutson, Joseph Lipps, Addison Hartley, Anthony Fleming, Austin Dailey, and Cashiz Riser. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by a son, Mark Vincent; and an infant great-granddaughter, Emma Jean Anne Davis. Funeral services will be held at 6PM on Saturday, June 2, 2012, at the Lambert-Tatman Funeral Home, 400 Green St. Parkersburg, with Pastor Roger Johnson officiating. Visitation will be from noon until time of services at 6PM on Saturday at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, the family would appreciate memorial contributions be directed both via US mail or in person to the Lambert-Tatman Funeral Home, 400 Green St., Parkersburg, to help the family with final expenses. Envelopes will also be provided on Saturday at the funeral home.
